Rose Paving is a Three-Time Winner among the 2012 Best Places to Work in Illinois!

Published by Candace on April 4th, 2012

Rose Paving Co., a leader in national parking lot management, has been selected for the third time as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois.  This workplace analysis and competition began in 2006 and is promoted by The Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago, and is managed by Best Companies Group.

“We are thrilled and honored to be recognized for the third time in four years as one of the best places to work in Illinois. At Rose Paving, we truly believe our employees are the most passionate, dedicated, and loyal workforce.  Our daily business mission is “recognizing opportunities – surpassing expectations.” Not only is this award a testament to that pursuit, but it will also help us attract additional top-notch professionals and deliver the best service to our clients,” stated Ed Campbell, president.

Rose Paving’s placement was based on its ranking against the scores of Illinois companies’ responses to a survey of employers and employees covering workplace policies, practices, demographics, employee engagement, and satisfaction.  Areas examined include work-life balance, pay, benefits, training and advancement opportunities, perks, workplace culture, and community involvement. Thirty-one winners were selected from the small/medium-sized company category (15-249 U.S. employees) and nineteen winners were selected from the large-sized category (250+ U.S. employees).

The 50 winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony the evening of Thursday, May 17, 2012, at the Hyatt Lisle, 1400 Corporetum Drive, Lisle, IL.  Final rankings will be announced at the event.  A special publication profiling each company will be published June 25, 2012, by The Daily Herald Business Ledger, the primary source of local business news and information in suburban Chicago.

Atlanta Branch Update: Fall 2011

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at our office in Norcross, GA

Since the opening of our Atlanta branch office in April 2009, we have seen tremendous growth and success in the Southeast.  Mason Ambler and Chris Hudgins joined our sales team in the spring of 2011.  Our operations team has expanded with in-house crews and equipment managed by Mike Leonard, Superintendent.  Mike brings with him 10 years of experience in the paving industry.  Brandon Graf continues to oversee the office as Director of Sales.  Our experienced team of professionals is ready to assist you in any phase of parking lot maintenance including crack seal, seal coat, lot marking, and asphalt/concrete repairs.

In August 2011, we relocated our Atlanta office to Norcross, GA.  The relocation was necessary to serve the needs of our valued, local customers and provide the organization with much-needed space for equipment and employees.  Check out what the branch has been up to recently in the Peach State:

  • Completed crack sealing, seal coating, and striping at a local airport
  • Performed crack sealing, seal coating, and striping and applied reflective pavement markings at a prominent church in Atlanta
  • Completed multiple projects throughout the Southeast at a large retail mall in Conyers, a golf course in Snellville, and an apartment complex in Stone Mountain
  • Two large jobs are underway for a leading home-improvement retailer; estimated completion in late November/early December
  • With less than one month left to sealcoat, our staff is on-hand to help customers complete their end-of-year projects

In addition to paving, the branch has also been busy networking.  Recently, the office hosted a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in conjunction with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce to celebrate our expansion to Gwinnett County.  Guests included city officials, members of the Chamber’s Economic Development Department, and our very own President Ed Campbell.  Those in attendance were treated to refreshments and a tour of the office and yard.  The Atlanta team is also active with the local chapters of BOMA and IFMA, as well as AAA.

Stay tuned for more branch updates!  And, remember, if you have one or multiple properties in Atlanta or the surrounding area, our expertise is closer than ever before.  Call 678-303-2500.
