This past winter, the Rose Paving Special Projects Division completed a 3.5-foot by 7-foot security guard shack installation at one of Chicago’s most famous sports facilities. The project called for the demolition and widening of the existing entrance to the parking lot, installation of a new concrete island, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk, new concrete entrance, and guard booth.
Our team executed the project on time and within budget, utilizing the attentive project management team, traffic control, and excellent customer service. An efficient timeframe was imperative, as our crews were working around a busy schedule of NBA, NHL and concert events. Security is very important at this facility, and Rose Paving took extra care.
Overall, the specs included the following: 5 concrete bollards, 280 linear feet of concrete curb removal and replacement, 1,660 square feet of concrete sidewalk, apron and entrance installation, and 675 square feet of infrared asphalt repair.
